Welcome To The Root Circle

I’m so glad and honored you’re here. I’m Jeysonlee, and welcome to the Root Circle.

I’ve spent over ten years in human resources listening to people through hard seasons, and my faith has taught me that everyone deserves to be heard and cared for. But as a Black man in America, I’ve seen how few spaces exist where we can simply talk, be honest, and be in community. Strong Roots Collective was born to change that: to give Black men a place to belong, and to break the stigma that keeps so many men suffering in silence.

Roots grow quietly before anything shows above the surface, and they grow stronger when they’re intertwined with others. That’s what this space is for.

Here, you can come as you are. You can vent, ask for advice, celebrate your wins, share a prayer request, or simply read until you’re ready. All I ask is that we treat each other’s stories with care and kindness.

Starting Tuesday, October 13th, I’ll post weekly reflection questions for us to sit with together. In the meantime, introduce yourself in the comments below and connect with others as they join. I’m grateful you’re here, and I can’t wait to grow alongside you.
